May is Skin Cancer Awareness month, and with Memorial Day coming up to mark the official start of the Summer, we'd like to remind you of a few sun safety tips:
•Seek the shade, especially between the peak sun hours of 10 AM and 4 PM.
•Cover up with clothing and UV-blocking sunglasses.
•Use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher every day. For extended outdoor activity, use a water-resistant, broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Reapply frequently.
•See your physician every year for a professional skin exam.\
And always wear a hat with that offers UPF50+!
